ABSTRACT
The study presents stress analysis of Ural 4320, a ladder-type truck chassis struc-ture, which features C-section structural ele-ments and we designed for an 11-tons load. Changes implemented to reduce the stresses of applied loads showed through finite element analysis that they could provide available alter-native for increasing fatigue life. Based on the results, we ranked the chassis alternatives using the Vikor methodology.
