ABSTRACT
Nowadays the increase of the productivity at industries are a main objective. This paper deals with the design methodology of single purpose machines. The steps of the design process are detailed through an exact problem, which is the machining of a pneumatic distributor block. After performing the necessary calculations, the elements of the single purpose machine are selected in the design phase. The 3D model of the machine is made in Autodesk Inventor Professional software.
