Bakosné Diószegi Mónika:
IMPLEMENTING PRACTICAL ENGINEER TRAINING IN MECHANICS EDUCATION     5
Industry expects high quality knowledge and the practical use of this knowledge from newly graduated engineers. University education must meet these expectations and it must adapt to the behavioural culture of current students.

Dr. Czifra György, Dr. Mikó Balázs:
OUR ACTIVITY FOR ENSURING UNIVERSITY EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF INDUSTRY 4.0      9
Authors present what has been achieved in the field of education, what methods have been used to provide the basic questions, problems and opportunities of Industry 4.0 to their students. They share the results of an opinion poll, a feedback from students on the extent to which they have met their expectations.

Dr. Haidegger Géza:
THE EVOLUTION OF BIOTECHOLOGIES IN THE VISION OF THE UPCOMING EUROPEAN MANUFACTURING     13
The European ManuFuture Technology Platform deals with the vision, research strategy and realisation process of the European manufacturing. Author presents the most important research fields. The upcoming evolution of biotechnology can generate an outstanding value-enlargement in the European manufacturing.

Horváth Richárd, Fábián Enikő Réka, Nagy András István, Terek Pál:
THE MACHINABILITY PROBLEMS OF DUPLEX STAINLESS STEELS     19
Numerous contemporary works deal with machining and machinability characteristics of duplex stainless steels. The results of performed tests in the case of duplex steels suggest that the wear are partly related to the presence of precipitations of the superduplex corrosion-resistant steels and partly to the production and casting characteristics of this steel type.

Jónás Szabolcs, Krizsma Szabolcs, Dr. Felhős Dávid:
MANUALLY AND COMPUTER AIEDED TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION AND FINITE ELEMENT ANALYS OF SUPENSION CLIP     25
In this study the topology optimization process of a part of the conventional brake caliper unit (namely suspension clip) is presented. The aim of authors was to develop a weight reduced, 3D printable suspension clip with appropriate fatigue strength.

Dr. Marcsa Dániel, Bán Péter:
SETTING UP AN ELECTRIC DRIVES LABORATORY FOR EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN UNIVERSITY OF GYŐR     30
One of the focal points of developments at University of Győr is the modernization of education and research infrastructure related to electric and hybrid drive systems. Paper consists of two main parts, the implementation and the demonstration of usage of the 11 test beds produced by Energotest Kft.

Mezei Ferenc:
NEW PARADIGM IN NEUTRON BEAM STUDIES IN THE INDUSTRY: COMPACT NEUTRON SOURCES, EVEN ON SITE     36
By the development of neutron instrumental methods the available neutrons can now be put to use with an efficiency some 1000 to 10000 times superior to that commonly achieved just 20 years ago. Tests can be performed by new compact neutron sources even on site.

Venczel Márk, Dr. Veress Árpád:
A HEAT TRANSFER ANALYSIS OF VISCOUS TORSIONAL DAMPERS FOR TEMPERATURE REDUCTION     38
Torsional vibration dampers are considered to be one of the most important vehicle structures from the operation and safety point of view. Current work introduces a coupled fluid dynamic and heat transfer simulation of a viscodamper. The numerical results are discussed in detail with special care for the cooling efficiency.

Dr. Ficzere Péter, Dr. Kovács Norbert Krisztián, Dr. Szebényi Gábor, Dr. Borbás Lajos:
INVESTIGATION OF FLEXIBLE MATERIALS PRODUCED BY ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGY     43
The flexible materials are used in many areas of mechanical engineering. Frequent applications are sealing and damping. Before installation, it has to be sized, which requires knowledge of material characteristics. In this paper a material called SoftPLA was investigated.
